For the month of April, Calvert is focusing on Wound Care Therapy. Calvert’s Wound Care program is provided by specially trained nurses with extensive experience with patients requiring comprehensive Wound Care Therapies in the home. our wound care nurses are highly qualified to facilitate the healing of the patient's wounds and ulcers. We have two wound care certified (WCC) nurses and one WOCN on staff to treat and manage all wounds.

Stasis Ulcers
Pressure Ulcers
Traumatice Wounds
Surgical Wounds
Abscesses

Calvert Wound Care Nurses provide the following services:

Wound Assessment
Comprehensive wound care treatment
Assess cardiovascular/peripheral circulation
Assess home safety

Referrals are easy.

Referrals may be made by the patient, their physician or the physician's staff, discharge planners, family members or friends. Calvert Home Health Care, Ltd. will verify the patient's eligibility and appropriateness for home health services and will obtain orders from the treating physician prior to providing services.

Medicare pays 100% of the cost of home health services in many cases. Qualifications for other payers varies.
